PIPA: Personal Information Protection Act

As of January 1st, 2004, British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (BC PIPA) legislates how organizations operating in British Columbia collect, use and disclose customer and employee personal information.

Daniels treats all correspondence in respect of employment vacancies and employment applications in strict confidence.

However, any other comments or materials sent to Daniels Electronics Ltd including feedback data, such as questions, comments, suggestions, or the like regarding the content of any such documents (collectively 'Feedback'), shall be deemed to be non-confidential. Daniels Electronics Ltd shall have no obligation of any kind with respect to such Feedback and shall be free to reproduce, use, disclose, exhibit, display, transform, create derivative works and distribute the Feedback to others without limitation. Further, Daniels Electronics Ltd shall be free to use any ideas, concepts, knowledge or techniques contained in such Feedback for any purpose whatsoever, including but not limited to developing, manufacturing and marketing products incorporating such Feedback.
