DANIELS INTRODUCES BRIEFCASE REPEATER

 

Victoria, B.C. Canada - April 6, 2005– Daniels Electronics Ltd., a leader in customized public safety radio communications systems, today announced the launch of a new family of rapidly deployable, reliable, rugged repeaters in a briefcase for emergency response applications.

The Daniels family of rapidly deployable briefcase repeaters provides instant communications anywhere, anytime. Able to be set up in a matter of minutes it provides public safety agencies with an instant solution to any communication challenge for analog, digital or encrypted secure digital communications. The Daniels Briefcase Repeater family can be used in a wide range of repeater or base station applications including VHF-UHF crossband and Satellite telephone interface.

“Our Briefcase Repeater is a compact package providing a single repeater in a rugged portable case that can be carried by a single person”, says Robert Small, Chief Operating Officer of Daniels Electronics. “For any tactical application, the briefcase repeater provides instant communications for the first line responders anywhere, anytime.”

Standard Daniels RF modules (analog or P25 digital including AES and DES encryption) in any frequency band are interconnected to an interface module that provides external connections in the side of the case for the RF connection to the antenna and an AC/DC connection to the internal battery backup unit and charging circuit.
